District Governor's Message

DG’s Farewell Message – June 2020

My dear fellow Rotarians,

My term as District Governor of Rotary District 3300 is finally coming to an end. I have met with some of the expectations of our District and missed some targets along the way. But I have no regrets for I believe I have served with sincerity to the best of my ability to bring the District to a greater height of achievements. But one thing is certain, it has truly been an incredible year. My wife Bee Hong shares that excitement and commitment of serving you. We cannot express to you how happy and excited we are especially the warm welcome, fellowship and hospitality accorded to us in all the Rotary functions and events as we move around the District. We will treasure the experience for the rest of our lives.

I seek your forgiveness if while performing my duties I have unintentionally hurt your feelings either by my words or actions. Can I ask you all now to Be A Friend? Let us Build The Future With Action And Vision to Show Rotary Cares for our Rotarians, for our community, for our world and for its people.

Bee Hong and I wish DG Teoh Kwan Swee and DFL Rotarian Ooi Kim every success and we will give our total support. I trust all of you will give them the same kind of undivided support so that they can endeavour to lead our District with distinction and excellence as Rotary Open Opportunities for all to serve.

I am humbled and honoured to serve as your District Governor for 2019-20. All of you made this possible, and I am grateful Rotary has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I hope you too have enjoyed a good Rotary Year as much as my wife Bee Hong and I did.

Thank you, all my friends, for giving us this lifetime opportunity to connect together because Rotary Connects The World and Rotary Open Opportunities for us to serve.

Your Friend in Rotary,

DG LIOH Cheng Lim
District Governor
Rotary International District 3300 Malaysia
